Discipleship Training
We offer both a 20 month and a 9 week discipleship training program. The first is called the Kingdom Leadership Institute. The second starts with 9 days we call School of the Heart which moves into a two-month experience we call The Avodah Journey. These experiences are designed to equip and send people to make disciples of Jesus Christ. Please scroll down to read more.
Kingdom Leadership Institute
The need for godly, competent leadership extends across the spectrum of family, business, religion, media, arts/entertainment, government and education. Christ-centered exemplary leaders exist, but seem to be in short supply.
Therefore, we intend to launch an institute in September of 2024 for equipping visionary servant-leaders to oversee initiatives that help carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations. We envision releasing Kingdom-minded leaders into all sectors of society.

The end result of the Kingdom Leadership Institute training is to get you walking in the unique call God has for you. Capping off the Institute, will be a Kingdom Initiatives Pitch Summit where you, as a leader, can present your innovative and creative ideas to a group of people prepared to fund them as the Lord leads.

Summer Discipleship Training
In partnership with Kingdom Equip
We invite you to join us at Morning Star for a summer of growing as a follower of Jesus Christ. The vision is for each student to grow so close to Jesus that he or she leaves inspired to go and make disciples who will make disciples. Our summer discipleship training has two phases described below. Individuals may choose only phase 1 or both phase 1 and phase 2.
PHASE 1 – School of the Heart
Experience nine days of beholding Jesus and connecting to the Holy Spirit. You will be equipped to pursue a life of intimacy, freedom and power in Christ. This happens through times of worship, prayer, teaching, meditation on God's word and living in community. You will learn how to guard your heart and allow the life of Christ to flow from it. We admit up to 60 people into the first phase.
PHASE 2 – Avodah Journey (Work, Worship, Serve)
The Hebrew word Avodah jointly means work, worship and service. It gives us a picture of an integrated faith. With this in mind, we invite you to experience two months focused on modeling Christ-like community, serving in keeping with one’s God-given personality and giftings, relational skills and establishing spiritual disciplines in the midst of working hard. All of this will add up to an ongoing posture of worship as a way of life. Phase 1 is a pre-requisite for phase 2. We admit up to 10 people for phase 2.
