What began as a hunger for recognition became a deep satisfaction in sonship and a lovesick devotion to Christ. Out of his own journey into God's presence, Jesse founded Carry the Fire — a mission to empower ordinary people to encounter the Holy Spirit, embrace their God-given identity, and walk confidently in their God-ordained destiny. He believes the fire your soul longs for isn't far away — it's passionately pursuing you.

Through Redeeming Rivers, he integrates soul care, spiritual direction, and coaching to guide individuals and leaders out of stuck patterns and into clarity, healing, and purpose. With a background in ministry and a passion for whole-person transformation—spirit, mind, and body—Matthew is committed to seeing people run their race with God’s pace and grace. He has been married to Angie since 1998, and they have two children—Ethan, married to Mollie, and their daughter Bree.
